The Rules of FFArnath

Basic Rules

1) Fun is the name of the game

2) You MUST respect everyone on this site, no matter their religion, sex, sexual preference, age, race, favorites or even if you just plain out don't like them. We are all humans and we all will feel emotions run high at some point in time. Try to be mature and handle them. Respect your fellow RPers. No swearing

3) Obey staff or you will not be allowed to RP

Profiles

1) Go to the Character Profiles board and create your application. There is a format that I would like you to use which can be found there. Once your finished profile has been posted, an admin or moderator will be along to discuss it with you or stamp it Accepted!

2) No more than five characters. Each member is limited to one Dragon Rider. So be inventive.

3) All Riders must start from the beginning of their career. Basically you find or receive a dragon egg and have very little or no experience. Only Elves and Humans may be Dragon riders. Please note that Elves, Dwarfs, Nyphai and mountain men cannot be with the Dark lord just as Ill guards, Orcs, Skal'tum and Drakil cannot be part of the White Knights.

4) ALL of your characters must be shown somehow in your signature. I'd like you to include name, race and your position. (example: Arget Istalri~Elf~Lord Of Alagaesia) in the colour of your allegience so 'White' for knights 'Black' for Dark Lord and 'Green' for neutral.

Posting Rules

1) Don't use computer slang when you're role playing. I understand if you're just talking to someone through OOC ("Lol" and small things like that) but no one is permitted to use things like 'ur', 'r', 'u' in place of your/you're, our/are, or you in the in character boards. An admin or moderator will modify your posts as well as give you a warning.

So use proper English

2) Don't god-mod or power play unless it really can't be avoided. If the other player agrees you are allowed to control his or her character, that's fine. It just ruins the fun of RPing when your character is being controlled by another person.

3) For the sake of reading, try to use your best English and grammar. You can have your character have an accent. There is a spell check if you need it. Improper grammer and spelling make a post very hard to understand and reply to.

4) Please make your posts as long as you can, preferably longer than 3 lines. Be descriptive of your surroundings and what your character(s) are thinking, saying and doing. Short posts are hard to reply to with a long post.

5) You are allowed private threads with only certain people involved. Just post (private) in the thread name.

6) Whenever you have your character talk, post in plain font with "quotations". When your character is thinking, use italics.

7) If I see anyone post on the Role-play boards and their character is not in it, an admin or moderator will delete that post. This site is a role playing game, not real-time strategy.

8) Please do not post in threads with just OOC and do not join a thread untill the current RPers agree. If you disobey this rule it is considered cheating to get money so you will lose a certain amount of money. And don't double post for the same reasons. A warning may be given for persistent offence.

Traveling

1) You may only post in a maximum of three threads at once. This basically means you may only be in three places at once. This Does not include Quests and the main plot.

2) Please don't post in every new thread. People would like to meet new people, not just see the same person in every thread.

Armies

1) No one except particular exceptions for plots will 'control' any army. This site is to roleplay, not to fight massive battles with armies.

We will have armies in the plots and quests but they will be controlled by the staff and no one else.

Those are the rules. Please remember them and take heed that we will not put up with people constantly breaking the rules.
